Fox Chapel Hires New Football Coach to Lead Foxes in 2011

Former Steelers linebacker Eric Ravotti has been hired as the new head coach of the Fox Chapel football team.  Ravotti, a Penn State and Freeport standout who played a reserve role for the Steelers from 1994-96, faces the task of rejuvenating a program that has struggled in recent years.  Coach Ravotti hopes to increase player turnout by using his national football league experience to make the Foxes coaching staff attractive to potential players.

Donor Gives $800,000 for Turf Field at Fox Chapel Area High School

Fox Chapel Area High School is getting a synthetic turf baseball field with an outfield that becomes a turf practice field for fall and spring sports, thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor.
